By using the Muamala website or any app or dashboard running on it, you agree to these terms.
1The service
Muamala is an independent software platform that helps typing and document-clearing offices organise requests, documents, payments and renewals. Muamala is not a government entity and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government authority, and it does not process government transactions itself.
2The office’s responsibility
The subscribing office is the service provider to its customers. It is responsible for accepting requests and submitting them through approved government channels, for the fees it sets, for the accuracy of the data it relies on, and for complying with the rules that govern its business.
3Accuracy
Customers must provide correct information and documents. Automatic document reading, reminders and financial figures in the dashboard are aids; the “estimated office margin” is a tracking figure, not an accounting or tax statement.
4Reminders and messages
Email reminders are sent automatically only to customers who provided an email. WhatsApp messages are prepared in the dashboard and sent by the office’s own staff. We do not guarantee delivery of any message, and reminders do not replace the office’s own follow-up.
5Accounts and security
The office is responsible for its staff accounts and passwords and for suspending the account of anyone who leaves. Using the platform for any unlawful purpose or attempting to access another office’s data is prohibited.
6Subscription and trial
Trial length, subscription fee and payment method are agreed with each office. Service may be suspended after notice for non-payment, and the office keeps the right to download its data.
7Ownership
The office’s and its customers’ data belong to the office. The platform, its design and software belong to Muamala; the office receives a right to use it for the duration of its subscription.
8Liability
We take reasonable care to keep the service available and secure, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for a transaction being rejected or delayed by a government authority or for indirect losses.
9Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. We may update them from time to time; the date of the latest update is shown at the top.
